Arm

I want to tell you about the silver arawana that I had as a child. When I first bought it, it was the length of my middle finger. It grew to a foot and a half long and now it cuts through the water like a sidewinder. You mistake it for a snake, it is so thin and graceful. I put my arm in the water and feel it wriggling out of my grip, nibbling at my elbow. I like the way it eats. It does not use its teeth, only its breath.
